The art and design event, Design Act, was held at Winzavod in Moscow from 27 August to 30 August. The venue was converted from the warehouse in Moscow. The festival hosted over a hundred Russian and international designers whose creations blend contemporary art and everyday function, along with workshops and a market for design-inclined shoppers.

Established in 2004, the State of Design Festival is the largest and most innovative design event in Australia and the heart of design thinking and design activity each year.

State of Design Festival increases the awareness of the value of design and showcases how design generates innovation, promotes sustainability and adds value to business and society. Festival programs demonstrate and broadly communicate how the Victorian and Australian design profession can improve living conditions, create sustainable development opportunities, and generate new and innovative products and services; in turn, providing economic benefit for the state of Victoria.

By communicating to Victorian, Australian and international audiences, the Festival promotes a deeper understanding of design capability and value. The Festival is accessed through a highly focused program of workshops, forums, exhibitions and events. A chief concern of the Festival is to assist designers in making their "offer" more appealing to businesses and to encourage those businesses engaged with design to communicate the benefits to their peers who are not engaged.

an old western style mansion 'terminal lounge' at Shinagawa with budding seven product labels which is with wide variation from interior to fashion. kyouei design joined and exhibited our newest products -glass tank, water clock-, and liquid bookmark and liquid lamp. kyouei design's theme was "the properties of liquid".

as part of the cultural program of the seoul design olympiad 2008 (october 10-30, 2008), designboom hosted a group exhibition of international design professionals from around the world. the designboom mart took place at the city's jamsil sports complex from 10 -14 october, 2008. for the first time in seoul, designboom provided an unprecedented opportunity to meet the young avant-garde and become familiar with their work. visitors were able to buy designsouvenirs and limited edition pieces directly from the designers themselves. from metal to ceramics, glass to fabrics, to recycled materials, with close to 100 beautiful objects on sale the mart achieved a good compromise between creativity and production. in this initiative, the designers personally presented their wares, along with, various samples and a portfolio.

The Seoul Design Olympiad is a comprehensive design event prepared by the city of Seoul, the World Design Capital 2010. On October 10, 2008, would class design experts and young design talents in various backgrounds in design such as public, industrial, fashion and graphic design will gather together in Seoul. This event was held at the Jamsil Sports Complex where professional designers and others from all over the world met and shared design ideas.

Kyouei design participated as an invited designer. Seoul Metropolitan Government hosted Seoul Design Week from December20 to 27, in Seoul, Korea. Seoul Design Week be dedicated to the entire industrial design, including a design conference,exhibition and various events during the 8-day festival. Especially, the designation of Seoulis nominated for World Design Capital (WDC) 2010 competition by the International Council of Societies of Industrial Design (Icsid) behalf on the International Design Alliance (IDA). Accordingly, Seoul Metropolitan Government would like to bring global attention to Seoul with strong design.

The Seoul Design Week is one of the projects like the purpose. Our government is preparing a lot of big business to make World Design Capital as renovation Street and building and so on.
