The Seoul Design Olympiads of 2008 and 2009 were reborn as the Seoul Design Fair in 2010. The Seoul Design Fair is the world's comprehensive design festival and is organized by Seoul to celebrate its designation as the World Design Capital (WDC) and to develop as a world design culture hub.

The introduction of Taiwan Designers Week In Taiwan, the merging of traditional and contemporary, western and eastern cultures has nourished many design communities with great diversity. Few years ago, many designers found that it is the time to build a platform for exchanging ideas and getting connected to other designers, creative communities and public. Initialed in 2007,Taiwan designers Week (TWDW) has become one of the most remarkable design events in Taiwan, and also the biggest annual design exhibition organized by non-governmental sector.

In order for Japan's industry to continue it is said that value-added brand marketing, like that in Europe, and products with a design and concept which has strong appeal is needed. Amongst the many local businesses who are foraging into new area, Shizuoka City based Kyouei Design is a design brand that has succeeded internationally. The brand's very appealing products are at once minimal and full of original ideas and have won acclaim from the international media.

The exhibition titled "productivity" by 23 product label companies was held at Tabloid. A wide content such as the interior, the design product, the fashion product and the book were exhibited.
Tabloid is an eclectic art, office, gallery and studio space for the creative set that occupies the printing press warehouse abandoned by the nightly business gossip rag Yukan Fuji. It opened to the public on May 11 with live painting, DJ sets, installations, a live auction, and outside BBQ but it had already been introduced to insiders when Lady Gaga chose it as the venue for her 'secret' concert in Tokyo a month earlier. But interest in Tabloid is noted not for the blessing of Ms Gaga, but for the scale of the project, and its location, a squat of space next to Hinode on Tokyo Bay, otherwise a no-manิ๘ิ๘ิ๘s-land for its target new-gen hipster circles that have stuck to the other side of town.
